Ignore the question, asking instead "What magic is that?"

Ride the currents until I shake off the daze. Examine my surroundings
The currents drag you into a pipe and out into the river, well past the city. You awaken with your assailant staring you in the face.
((Lol, sorry TamerVirus. I looked at your action to check if you saw the evil tentacled fish man, but never checked your character sheet to check if you were the evil tentacled fish man. I'll look after you till you wake up, our characters are actually rather synergistic.))

Follow the fish man. When he awakes interrogate him.
dont think I need to actually say anything here do I.
Go to the armory, acquire a full set of plate armor including a helmet with a face plate. Agree to help the guards if needs be.
georgia is late to the party and can hear the captain talking. Judging by the obvious respect his men have for him they may not notice if she left or she can stay and maybe help a bit.
GUnbar checks his helmet is on securely, then takes his shield and mace and joins the other guardsmen.

Join the guardsmen in guardering. Guard the tower.
The captain's gaze goes vacant for a moment before he launches into his speech. "Alright men, just got word from councillor Romek. The council has decided that Berd's antics have gone too far this time. Whoever wins this fight will meet a rather bloody end anyway. The councillor will handle whichever leader is still standing. We'll just be on cleanup detail.   We're still fighting some really big nasties, but we aren't going to be fighting the real monsters. His men seem content with that. The stories of Berd and Athri's strengths are incredible even by magical standards.
Follow along with Athri's forces, and stand ready for combat.
Berd is suddenly standing in front of Jonathyn, bloody axe in hand.  The priest and 6 others lay dead Athri turns to him and the area he is standing in explodes. Jonathyn is thrown back about a hundred meters. Berd is nowhere to be seen but the smoking corpses of some of Athri's followers are left behind. She screams in rage.
Whats all this then?
Sand jetpack over to the battlegrounds.
No flight yet. He is about 1/2 way to the battlefield.
Ignore the question, asking instead "What magic is that?"
He desperately looks like he wants to explain the ritual to you, but he appears duty bound to complete it. "If you decide to get in my way or slow me down I will kill you. This is too important. Go away, moronic civilian."  From what he can see the ritual appears to be a massive spell. In fact it looks too big to be just one caster.

Take stock. How badly am I hurt? Did I manage to keep hold of my weapons? Does Athri seem to notice me?
Also, if Atrhi hasn't noticed my existence yet, abscond!

"Quite honestly, I don't know. But I'm in more need of friends than foes at the moment..."

Temporary time bubble around the ritualist and the rock monster.
Take stock. How badly am I hurt? Did I manage to keep hold of my weapons? Does Athri seem to notice me?
Also, if Atrhi hasn't noticed my existence yet, abscond!

Sprinting away from the battlefield is almost too easy. Athri doesn't seem to care and her worshipers are cheering her on. Hundreds of blasts detonate around the city, Jonathyn's eyes inform him of Berd's location every time he has slowed down and he uses thus information to avoid him. Unfortunately, his focus is on Berd as a figure steps into his view. He has barely recognized them as one of Berd's allies before there is a sword uncomfortably close to his neck and the woman is behind him. "You look a little bit lost there friend. Do you need some help?"
Get armor, stay to help out.
most men know enogh to stay well away from the lady with the two greatswords.  You are given a wide berth as the guard/militia breaks into squads.
Help the fish man up and look around for armor and weapons.
Examine the area. See if there's anything of note
not much in the way of weapons. Not much in the way of anyhing out here. You are in Athri's initial warpath. What used to be a forest is a rapidly decaying, smoking, toxic mess. This is clearly a big deal to her.
Sand motorcycle?
You are functionally an earth elemental blended with a minor air elemental and sleep magic. So you want a motorcycle? Justify it and maybe.

At the battle scene. Athri and Berd's supporters are actively slaughtering each other in the streets. Neither side seems to be gaining ground as Athri's explosions are largely indiscriminate and Berd can't quite get close to her due to a minor temporal distortion that she directs around herself. It seems to be just enough to put Berd at her level of speed as he tries a small attack.
"Well, good thing we won't be handling the big cheese. "

attach myself to a group of guardsmen and go assist them in doing what needs to be done.
Romekshome is still a little wary of the undead and a recent war with Herlok, a necrocracy, hasn't done much to improve their opinions.  The fact that you are also a wanderer is not to your benefit.  One group begrudgingly lets hin join their ranks, though you feel you may have to watch your back. You can see one warrior with two swords that dwarf its tiny frame, the captain is eyeing you both intently.

Jumping nimbly to the top of the armory Georgia looks around briefly.

Look for any guardsmen who are standing alone or who seem to be equipped in non standard gear.
