"Thanks, but no. I'm used to sleeping on the ground - and I'm blind in one eye, so seeing is hard enough as it is. I don't exactly want to try to step over you if I need to find a bathroom in the middle of the night. Speaking of which, where the hell is the bathroom on this ship?"

I have no idea where the bathroom is, hopefully we can find it before it becomes a problem. And I could sleep under the bed, you wouldn't trip then.

"No! I need that space! I get the floor, and that's final. Anyways, what were you going to tell me earlier? Something about an organ? Was your appendix removed?"

"You're secretly some kind of alien larva that took over the brain of whoever it is that previously had control of that body, and intend to kill us all when you mature?"

Hales taps a nearby intercom to make sure it works, before speaking to the crew.

"We're having some AI troubles, so just hang in there for a while. In the meantime, can someone find my room? I can't find it anywhere."

"Nah, it can't be important."

Lily gives a small giggle.

"Well, I'd say we probably press a button somewhere, but... I don't know where one would be. Or who that was."

"Can we try to contact the guy that used the intercom first? You can just tell me later."

As if right on cue, the intercom cracks again, and Hales continues talking.

"Oh, right, I forgot to introduce myself. Hales, Chief of Engineering. If anyone's nice enough to go looking for that room, it should be... Let me check. 5B, I think. I have no clue where I am."

Sure, any idea where a intercom is?

"In the hall, maybe? We should talk to someone about getting one put in the rooms. Although with our luck we probably have the only room without one."

"There's probably one in your room. Black box on the wall, red button, microphone. I think it might actually be on already, though."
