+1 to mission A. The reward isn't great but could be useful, and we should be able to get away with only destroying a couple of the trucks (first + last), so the catch isn't too much of a problem. One thing I'm concerned about though is that the highway is surrounded by forest, so we'll probably have to dismount or end up driving pretty carefully, though we should be in pretty decent ambush territory (a plus and a minus). I'm a little worried about the tanks that might or might not be tagging along, as we lack the proper weapons to deal with them, though they might be a unexpected bonus if we manage to capture them intact, I guess.

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

If we get there ahead of time, we can move the 'Tiger' assault trucks into position. They have mounted rocket launchers we could use. Aside from that, we also have some RPGs our men can use. And capturing some tanks would be awesome, but I'm not sure how the battle spoils will work. We may be limited to just what the rebel command gives us.

Well we can try capturing stuff and see how the battle spoils work if we capture something.

Also I wonder if we can loot weapons and armor from corpses.

Should work fine, we could drag off some of the lighter enemy vehicles and strip them for parts or to combine broken ones into working ones for extra vehicles.

I'd say we need some tank destroyers since AA and AI is well covered.

We could also commandeer some of them if possible.

I have a question. In the raider info it says 8x light infantry then 9 rifles 1 support gunner under it. Does that mean 8 squads of 9 rifles 1 support or?
Yeah you have 8 Light Infantry Units each of which consists of 9 Riflemen who are using the MLARs and then 1 Support soldier who uses the RPG-L1A, when an infantry units take loses the normal soldiers (in this case the Riflemen) die before the Support Soldier as the unit takes damage. So even if the unit takes 90 damage and loses 9 Soldiers the Support Soldier is made the last living soldier.

I has a question!

If we capture something and it isn't a mission requirement to return it, do we get to keep it?

Well I'd say before we try to commandeer we need some flash grenades and tear gas. You don't wanna charge a vehicle that's ready for you so blinding it's crew gets you close and gassing them gets you inside.

Well if we snipe out the drivers and crew, we can just waltz over there and take it.

If we can make a show of being stronger than we are, we can probably intimidate them into surrendering. Ride around, kick up a lot of dust, and make surgical strikes on the tanks in the confusion.

The only things you can capture are vehicles and to do that you need to disable them (requires several lucky critical hits), of course pretty much any vehicle can get disabled in the course of a battle so if it comes out at least mostly intact you'll be able to use it, with some wait. You can't strictly go out of your way to capture something, it'll likely just occur out of sheer luck.

I'm fine with that.

How do we get the supply trucks then?

The two listed are being given to you by the Resistance.
