Suggestion: Try not to die.
I think this one is fairly obvious by now.

I'd say it's obvious that there are unmined sections since we determined only one area was mined.

Have the Tiger (Viking 1) and the Talon (Norseman 1) advance Northeast to the second tree clump in that direction from them.

Huscarls: Squad Alpha (Light Infantry), will continue their cautious approach towards the gate. Longboat 1 (the L28 transport) will hold position.

+1 Can we get our armor up in that unmined gate? That'd be awesome.
btw, if those are actually under my command, I don't think need the +1. Unless they aren't. Then yay.

I've just realised something:
Quote from: from standing orders
1) When an infantry unit is reduced to a single soldier that unit is to retreat from combat to act as the leader of the squad when its next reinforced and impart his experience on the new soldiers.
when an infantry units take loses the normal soldiers (in this case the Riflemen) die before the Support Soldier as the unit takes damage. So even if the unit takes 90 damage and loses 9 Soldiers the Support Soldier is made the last living soldier.
I wonder how this'll turn out...

Set it to if 2 or less soldiers remaining = retreat rather than one = retreat?

Seeing no sign of enemies on the walls and with a minefield blocking the western most gate you decide its best to move on the eastern gate and send your infantry up over the walls to take it by storm. Your troops make quick timing, but soon enough your entire advance stops as explosions ripple across the ground as two Talons, and a Tiger roll over a stretch of unmarked minefield tossing the Tiger over completely and tearing up the Talons fairly well. You halt the advance immediately to give the three vehicles time to recover to their upright and ready to move out positions, and begin to decide how best to continue with this new turn of events ...

Throw militia at the mines.
Have our men wait 5 minutes before throwing militia at the mines.

Tear down a tree or two. Push them in front of one of our vehicles to serve as minesweeper

That or just bombard the mines out of the ground using our mortars.
