It all started when they found you in your cryopod. Three figures, two in white, the one in the middle a tall figure with imposing clothing. Their faces were blurry and you couldn't hear them properly. They took you to another room, all in white, and performed tests on your body. You still felt sick and you couldn't tell what was going on. When your vision and hearing started to clear, you could finally see your captors. The two men in white were not completely human. They had greyish skin with black orbs for eyes. They had no hair and their fingers were long and slimy when they touched you. You recoiled back in fear.
They had spoken something to you in a different language, something you can remember, but it was different. It was English, but the words were changed and pronounced differently, as well as completely new words being said. They connect two tubes to your eyes, two your ears, and some wires to your head. You jumped as you learned their language, all in a flash. The tubes and wires come off, and you fall to your knees, vomiting. Helping you to your feet, the door opened. The third figure from before had come in. He looked human, much more than the other two, but his ears were slightly pointed.
He explained what happened to you. You were found thousands of years later in your cryopod. Humanity has come a long way, colonizing thousands of planets. They've even discovered alien life! However, according to their laws, aliens were not allowed to be citizens in the human kingdom. You ask about the two grey men, and the third laughs. They were human, more than 51%, and so were allowed to become citizens. Hierarchy was based on how human you were. The true humans nearly died out, and most interbred with alien races. The royal family and the noble Houses all kept themselves mostly human, with the odd alien here and there.
You were tested. They found you to be the most human of all the citizens, and therefore legible to be noble. The two grey men excitedly asked you about life in the past, but you realize you have amnesia. You can't remember anything. You can still speak, read, write and do basic stuff, but you can't remember who you are, why you were in that pod, or what your name is. The grey man look down in disappointment and ask the third man what to do with you, referring to him as Prince. They said they had no use for you any longer. The Prince smiles and replies that you were incredibly useful: another pureblood human legible to rule. You reply that you have no idea how to rule.
The Prince laughs. "Do not worry, pureblood. By birthright, you are noble. Ruling is your right. You shall start with a piece of land, answering to another lord, and to his lord, and that lord's lord. But in time you will learn and rise. Such is the way of the human race."
He calls for someone, and a fourth man enters the room, tall, pale, in red robes and a weird-shaped hat. "Pureblood. What is thy name, so that your subjects may refer to you in honor."
This is weird.
GM Note: This is a game inspired by games like Lordship and Heirship, but in space [If Maldevious or Gervassen don't approve, I'll take it down]! Anywho, your lot in this life is determined by how much of your lineage is pure human. By far, you are the most human, next to the Emperor. Planetary life is mostly medieval-ish, with some sci-fi weaponry. The richer the planet, the more developed, but those planets belong to the Houses or the royal family. The Emperor - [Stranger]
The Prince - [Friendly]
