Concerning iron: the current problem with it is liquidity, but as long as we can find a port willing to buy it at all, we don't have to worry about that because we're video game protagonists. What we do have to worry about is bad prices... We haven't seen any other ports looking to buy iron, right?

...I'll take a better look at the thread's history tomorrow morning (I'm at work until 1:30 AM right now, you see). I can make better decisions about economics then. But for now, I'd say sell all the foodstuffs.

Okay, so economics.

We might as well sell... uh, everything.
Okay, so we should get some iron to take advantage of that special price, but not much. Terrible liquidity and all that.
Oats are cheap, we should get some of those too.
Scented oils are somewhat rare, right? So let's get some of the good stuff. Coupl'a barrels of lilac oil.
And then I guess we should fill up the rest of our space with (a variety of) mid-price goods, foodstuffs and crafting items.

Due to lack of replies, and mostly cuz of my unwillingness to continue NEF3, it shall be abandoned.

However:

One Newbie can join as Solymr's replacement in NEF4 as he will be leaving it soon for personal reasons. They would join in Chapter 1, I think.
One Newbie can apply for FEF2's waitlist. Such character wouldn't show up earlier than ~Chapter 5, however.

The two applicants, whomever they will be, can use NEF3's characters if they do desire, or make new ones. Equipments will be reset (to E-rank weapon + full vulnerary) and levels rolled up to match people in FEF2/NEF4.

That would be all.
