I think Fire Emblem follows the Christmas Cake principle.
Anyone over 25 is old and can only romance other people over 25.
Everyone else is a teenager. (and therefore potentially strong enough to destroy/save the world, but that's something else)

It's not a building, just a wall. You can fly over no problem.
