Got ya in the list, and that sounds fine. Once people are advanced enough to build bridges back to spawn it will be easy (if somewhat inconvenient) to interact between islands as well.

Who parties with whom is up to you guys. You can start pairing up or deciding to go solo if you like. There are 8 islands total. I am taking one with a few friends of mine but you guys are welcome  to the rest.

Who you join up with is up to you. IIRC you start on a central pagoda area with 8 colored paths and there are 8 flight potions. You take one (1) and only one! potion and drink it then you can fly to whichever island you choose. I'd encourage you to talk to the people on the island ahead of time to avoid awkward situations that require me to teleport people off someone else's island...

Islands which are claimed will have a sign next to the path saying so.

Once you decide on who you will be joining, there is a party system. Someone can create a party and invite you to it, and from then on you share quest rewards and progress. I believe the way that works is that the person to officially 'turn in' the quest gets the reward so share and share alike.

You need the Agrarian Skies 2.0.3 modpack from FTB to connect.

The spawn area looks neat.

When you come in you will find a chest in the center with warp books for each island. If you are claiming an island for yourself or for your party, grab the warp book and use it to get to the island. Anyone else coming to the island will need you to build a bridge back to spawn.

Spawn is DARK. Add torches or something else it will steal mob spawning...
Anyway, currently trying to convince some friends to do this with me...
Prob gonna Steal the Purple Island if I do get them...

Forsaken, you need to brighten up spawn, and something else to help those that don't have beds yet get back, cause its near impossible otherwise...
T_T Just realised its a whitelisted server and my friends haven't been whitelisted, so now waiting for them in game I suddenly remember hunger is an issue and haven't left spawn, currently about to run out of hunger before even starting... T_T

Just got up and I need to go to work soonish but I think I will run out simple bridges for everyone and drop lights at spawn.
