I strongly, STRONGLY advise automating sieving gravel and dust. It will pay itself off very quickly, and you'll be very happy in the distant future when you're crafting a bazillion of stuff for the quests.

Hehe, that's actually why we have so many gems.
I also set up a soul sand generator and auto-sifter tonight, and I added a barebone ME network. Now we just need a monster farm.

We got a serious infestation of them by or portal, nether-side, and they seem to only multiply.

They are spawned from destroyed netherrack (silk touch, or get swarmed). Since the fish themselves destroy blocks, not to mention ghasts, you can quickly get an unmanageable amount of them.

Well, Interesting variation to isle life, mining redstone and the high-end TC ores.

They are spawned from destroyed netherrack (silk touch, or get swarmed).

It seemed to me that they could enter blocks(netherrack, cobble and stone bricks so far) or they could break one to make a new fish.
I assume that it is when they broke cobble that silverfish spawned.

No, all quests can be completed without ever setting foot in the Nether. You can get nether ores from the MFR mining laser for instance.

That said, it's a good source of a lot of sulfur for making yellorite (Big Reactors). It's really risky though, I wouldn't recommend trips to the nether without being well prepared (such as flight).

All that aside, the server is whitelisted.  Generally, random people with day-old accounts don't get on the whitelist.

You clearly didn't read and/or understand the information in the OP, and you don't seem interested in anything but accessing the server...  why should we accomodate you?

Well, you aren't wanted to be perfectly honest. You're not a member of the community for which the server is being hosted.

You're never forced to go into the nether. That said, quarrying the nether can be quite good.

Edit: Searching "Agrarian skies server" gives us on page two. Including the version number probably bumps us up even farther.

Probably will once I revamp the server. Honestly their SMP map is kind of shit, I think I can do better with some bukkit love and some work.
