Year 1, SeptemberYou call the abomination Fal, Child, much to the disgust of the warriors, but they say nothing. The chainborn are indifferent. Your councilor seems excited about the creature, surprisingly. The creature has grown, now standing on two legs most of the time. It has become more streamlined, resembling less of a blob. You have the chainborn clean after it as the warriors won't enter any farther than the door. It speaks more, but all it says is "Mahja".
Finally the medicine seems to work on Philip. He seems to be recovering, and now spends most of his time playing by the underground caves or trapping animals. He seems to have gotten a knack for it. He's gotten leaner after the sickness, but he's getting his strength back. Your warriors find nothing on their hunts. Philip has gotten a bird or two. Fishing only yields a few fish. It seems winter is driving the animals to sleep or south. There aren't much berries and nuts to forage it seems.
You try to feed Fal with game, but you haven't caught any. You use the dead bodies your soldiers preserved when you recently crashed. It gorges on the bodies violently, spikes and claws erupting from it's body that you didn't see before. The corpses are gone withing moments, leaving only blood. Meanwhile, the vorplus seems to be ready to harvest in a month or two, thanks to your fertilizers.
There were hunters looking for game, getting close to your nest, but they left after accepting that there was no food left.
