My magic started as breaking things by exploiting weak points and applying kinetic force.
It escalated rather sharply from there.

"That sounds awfully like a gun. You know, you apply kinetic force at something's weak point, which in the case of people, is pretty much everywhere."

Darnos sits down at the bar slowly and picks up a shot glass.
Figure this. Just a shot glass, no real deformities, no dents or chips or cracks. Can you see any obvious way to break it without using excessive kinetic force or heat or some such?

"Time." Yuri responds near immediately as if the murmur was reflexive. "Wait long enough and it succumbs to entropy. If I recall... things move towards a more likely state and there are more arrangements for something that isn't that than there are for it."

Not an option for most mortals, however.

He runs a finger along it's length, then pauses at a certain spot.

However, right here there is a slight imperfection. Slightly less thick than right beside it. So if I inject energetic potential into that spot, it has no choice but to manifest as this.
A long, splintered crack webs out from the spot his finger is touching.

I can see these shatterpoints and exploit them, if you will. More advanced applications - he twirls his hand around and the glass disappears with a soft popping noise - come afterwards.

Yuri's eyes follow the glass's path up to their disappearance before quickly scanning around for possible locations, sleight of hand was a possibility of course. Though it seemed it was not the case here. "Let me guess, those weaknesses aren't just in solids, they're in reality, aren't they?"

Rex goes outside and leans against the wall, staring at the sky in contemplation.

He proceeds to crash into the roof of Club 404, landing hard in front of Eldon and Risa with tables falling and glass breaking, leaving a small crater in his landing.

Lionan yips and hides under a table.

Cheru grumbles and grabs a broom to sweep it up. Risa isn't fazed.

Miaka squeaks slightly. Fuuka is asleep. Carrick is unfazed, as is Elizabeth.

Something to that effect. Once you really start exploiting those, then you can apply it to larger scale objects and things.

Elizabeth is actually quite surprised by the sudden crash.

The man lets out a groan and slowly gets up, letting his 10 foot long sniper rifle fall to the ground.
 "Damn it Darnos, that hurt..." he mutters before dusting off himself. And gasping. He looks down at his body and his clothes, as if he were changed.
 ".....Okay. Okay, RS, calm down, calm down..." His voice seems to be almost girlish, and so does his facial complexion and body form.
