Eldon blinks at Cheru.
"H-how... how did you do that?"

"Cutter blades break quite easily, and seeing how you need to carry the spare blades to replace them they seem quite inefficient to use. So why would you use cutter blades?.." Luke thought for a moment.

"I think that you need to cut the titan in a specific way or in a specific spot, and you need to be very precise about it. Which is why you HAVE to use cutter blades, and the reason why you have two swords instead of one- to make the job easier, although more inefficient."

Luke deduced.

"..am I wrong?"

Eldon blinks at Cheru.

He examines the blade, scrutinising it, before vanishing it again.
"Impressive blade."

"You're spot on, actually. Titans have one weak spot--the napes of their neck. One well placed cut there and they're dead."

"Best method of killing such creatures; a catapult from behind. Or a big gun."
Cheru generates a knife with a cutter blade's edge, before chucking it into a tree, sinking it into the trunk.

"Cannons don't work that well on titans, nor catapults. Those can incapacitate a titan, but it will eventually regenerate."

"Hm. Try shooting a load of knives at their necks."

"Then that explains your gear. 3D gear, as I heard you call it. I deduce that you press the handles of the blades to shoot, and the gases act as an acceleration for you to reach high places like titan's neck, for example. Its quite hard, I tried simulating it with the program I created using Meow's tablet, but I couldn't last 2 seconds keeping my balance."

Luke paused.

"That's the problem. What if they step on your wires? What if you run out of gas? In fact, the so called '3D maneuver gear is 2.5D at best, seeing it's not dynamic enough for it to allow flexible movements, and what about flat surfaces?"

Cheru nods as he just twirls a flute in his hand.

After Luke finished saying this, he took out the gears he invented.

He put the leg parts of the gear on Eldon's legs and they reached upto his knees.

He put the arm parts of the gear on Eldon's arms, reaching upto his elbows,

He put the chestplates and backplates on him, the gears shining in metallic silver, and his chestplates had a core at the middle of the chest, 5cm diametre in size.

He strapped a belt on Eldon's waist, which had a cylinder holder, 15cm in height, 5cm diametre on its circle, containing 5 cores each that could fit in his chest, along with two blade handles with wires at the end, connecting it to the waist.

"These gears remove all of the wires in your old 3D gear. It is powered by the core in the middle, which is a condensed, crystallized magic energy, and it will act as your 'gas' and power source. It will last long, but there are holders that contain more of the core should they run out." Luke fixed his glasses.

"The blade handles have gears, where you control openings of your leg, back, and arm gears, which acts as a jet engine, using the power from your core. You can control dynamically how you move and where you fly, no trees or buildings needed, with only disadvantage being that it is harder to balance than your old 3D gear. So get used to he controls."

"The blade handles, should you press the handler, will emit a glowing blue holographic blade, emitted by concentrated magic energy, which is pretty precise in its cuttings. There are two blades, one for your left gears and right gears, so you should get used to the controls. They are wired, and can be thrown 6m in distance, and they come back.

"There should be a little trigger under the handle that is hidden. Try pulling it." Luke suggested.
