Suddenly, two more (average-person-sized) portals open up in the sky, and a figure falls from each!
One quickly transforms into some sort of large bird, floating down safely, while the other grows extremely large, revealing themselves as a fourteen-year-old girl and halting her fall.

[Xantalos]

Sigh.

[SOLDIER First]

The girl says, "What." but it would probably sound a lot louder because she's kind of
several stories tall.

[Xantalos]

This will not let lie.

[SOLDIER First]

The girl looks down at Darnos.
"What?"

[Xantalos]

Nevermind, you're not aware of the way this place works. Neither am I, though I'm getting there.

[SOLDIER First]

"What?"

[Xantalos]

What country were you born in.

[SOLDIER First]

"I can't hear you."

[Xantalos]

Then bend down or I'll break your knee so you can hear me.

She's not standing up, so that wouldn't really help, and she still can't hear him, so she leans down any way.
