He manages to ward off the attack.

The soldier looks for something to shoot. Preferably a mindraper.

They all seem to have the same shield they had before.

[Playergamer]

The soldier stabs one of them, then.

[PrivateNomad]

Once again, too high up. Jeeze, mundane people suck at killing.

But then he spots one on the ground, rushes up to it, and stabs it.
But then his dagger seems to stop.

[Playergamer]

"Aw, bugger..."

The soldier tries to chop it in... roughly the Brachial artery, but you can never tell with these things... with his hand.

[PrivateNomad]

Once again stopped.

The mindflayer does its equivalent of a laugh.

[Playergamer]

The soldier begins to laugh out loud.

"If this works, I will eat my mask."

He then takes his pistol back out, and empties it into the flayer, using every single bit of his brain imagining the bullets leaving the barrel, going through the shield, and into the flayer.

((Try to use special attack for a physical attack, go.))

[PrivateNomad]

The mindflayer becomes loaded with bullets and falls down, bleeding some green stuff.

[Playergamer]

The soldier stares.

"Yeah, negative. I like this mask."

The soldier then walks up to the mindflayer, and finishes it with his knife, using the same process.

[Playergamer]

The soldier finishes off the flayer.

"All right, all right!"

The soldier then stands up, sheathes his knife, and runs to the closest person he can see.

"How you handling it mate?"

[Xantalos]

That person is Darnos, come to inspect the corpse.

Nice technique.

[Playergamer]

"Thank you. They teach more then just shooting in the Killing House, you know. I've got some arrogant slavers to kill, if you don't mind big fella."

The soldier reloads his pistol and looks for more targets, specifically flayers who are attacking someone.

[Xantalos]

Darnos takes the dead mindflayer away for nefarious purposes.
