Presence or whatever, we got a spirit that wants to make up for dying from an arrow in the backside.

A dark purple ball of light appears in front of him.
 "Hm, I see... make up what, precisely?"

Launce bows to the spirit.
"I...want my death to have some dignity, some purpose. Dying like an undignified pig with an arrow to the backside is not how I envisioned it!"

Cheru whispers something to him. He stops, thinking, before continuing.
"You are looking for a soul to exchange for a child?"

"Ah yes, that old bargain? A little yuki-onna child to go back to her mother in exchange for your free will, mind, and soul."

Launce thinks about it.
"Fine. The child deserves her life more than I. And I....will willingly do this, if it means I have at least died with dignity."

Words begin to draw in the air, stating the contract. No secrets to it.

Launce agrees to it wholeheartedly.

Cheru looks as if he wants to pull him away....but if that is what will let him be at peace with death, then it will be.

The Presence pulls the figure of Launce into himself--a singly blue light  in the dark purple. A bright beam of icy light shines far away in Kyle's apartment.
 "And thus the void has another soul... It will take a day for her to transport, and my magic is currently charging. She has another hour left in this world if you wish to say your goodbyes, love you, godspeed, et cetera."
