"She... she was emotionless, like all her morals were sucked out of her and the only thing left was sin."

"It was a curse.
Before all that, she was very happy most of the time and quite outgoing--like she is now. All that changed when mom died, and she sort of just changed. We got together and we tried to bring her back, but it didn't work. In the attempted resurrection, my entire body was taken. She took the closest thing she could find--a skull--and drew a blood rune on it and bound my soul to it. This costed her soul, entering her in a cursed state where her soul's energy was slowly siphoned away."
