Kyle sighs and pulls out his phone and shows her the thread from when Chris came in.
"Number one, the thread is kind of suspicious but seems more like it's some weird archivists. But the fallen angel mentions a deity called El'Laborator."

Nope, seems that judgement seemed to be premature, the person standing before her suddenly seemed a great deal more eccentric considering his current course of action, then again, considering his construct, that was admittedly the most likely possibility in the first place.
"...Why are you showing me a forum? Why are you personifying and mispronouncing angles?"

"The forum has recorded everything everyone has done since most of us got here. And no, I'm not doing either."
Kyle says looking annoyed.

[Empiricist]

"...placing that matter aside, what was that about angles?"
Yuri keeps her tone neutral, after all, she had the feeling that if she sounded too incredulous she would either get kicked out, or have to autodefenstrate and scale down the building, neither of which were very pleasing prospects.

"Angels. You know, they have wings, do holy things, on rare occasions they fall? He's on of those guys."

[Empiricist]

Unless this stranger is speaking about flying intersections of lines, there is a definite language barrier in spite of the pair speaking in English, nevertheless, though the autodefenestration and scaling down the building option was becoming increasingly more attractive, her curiosity proves to be a more persuasive factor to her at present. Thus, suppressing a sigh, she continues.
"Many things have wings and can fall. What do you mean by holy?"

"Like, belonging to gods... wait, let me get you a dictionary."
Kyle says before going and doing just that.

Yuri quickly searches up the terms before skimming through the definitions of relevant terms. Glancing with an expression aghast with incertitude that was thankfully concealed once again by her visor, she stares blankly at the non sequitur on the page as if it were another language entirely before slowly voicing her thoughts. "So, these, 'angels', they're just people with functionless wings who go around and use magic?"

Kyle shrugs.
"They're also immortal and tend to do the dirty work of gods."

[Empiricist]

"Why don't the gods do it themselves? Or have humans do it on their behalf?"
Yuri decides to omit that, assuming these "gods" are anything like the deities of her world, she would fit into the latter option.

"Probably laziness. And, of course most of the time they do do it on their own depending on the god and angels just do minor things for them."

[Empiricist]

"...They need an entire species to perform minor duties?"
Yuri's gaze drifts back over to the window, though her head does not noticeably move; with the conversation winding down as is, it seemed prudent to at least examine the surrounding areas for some idea of where to go.

"Would you want to always be doing menial tasks when you can just make others do it for you?"

[Empiricist]

"I would think it's easier to convince humans to perform the role than creating what, from my understanding, amounts to a slave race."

"You're not thinking from the point of view of one who can create a slave race instantly but stupidly gave the mortals free will."
