Yuri examines her surroundings, the first detail that she notices is the odd architectural styles present, namely that, judging by appearances, the apartments either possess a strange balcony layout with each unit having multiple balconies on the same side of the structure as opposed to a single large one, or, they were awfully small apartments. Though the latter seemed more logical, it would be strange for such a case to be true. The next point of interest was the pavement. It consisted of solid slabs of rock, rather retrogressive considering that the modern standard would be a smooth track of liquid rock, the closest equivalent here seemed to be the asphalt that odd contraptions occasionally roamed across. They seemed to be miniaturized train carriages, streamlined and operating without rails with a rather varied range of features, a rather peculiar system to be frank. One would think that they are less efficient than border transit systems but... huh.... there didn't seem to be any here.
Then again, that was the least of her concerns at present, with a multitude of her armor systems fried and her connection to the spell server rather poor, this world seemed not only transgressive but almost hostile. Yuri would have checked the Border and scouted for Echo signatures, but alas, doing so was beyond her at present. She had, though it was a matter she'd rather not admit, neglected her studies in the Ethereal and Recurrent arts, procrastination played a part as always, though also her focus on learning how to use the advanced theurgy her fabricators could help catalyze. Nevertheless, seeing as she currently has no means to check the aforementioned features, it was regrettably undeniable now.
Remembering the lady she ran into, Yuri decides to search for her, perhaps she would know more about this seemingly alien location.
