"So, do you want to go into town later?"

 "I don't see why not." she says, not looking up from the Necronomicon.

Kyle smiles and puts an arm around Lizzie's shoulders.
"Cool, so how are you?"

Lizzie looks at his arm with a nonchalant glance.
 "Fine."

Kyle nods.
"So is there anything you want to do before we go?"

[Twi]

Twi returns from watching Summer Wars. He approved. :v

Lizzie shrugs.

Kyle nods.
"Do you always read that or do you like other books as well?"

[PrivateNomad]

 "The Necronimicon is a vast array of knowledge containing the secrets of life and death, only comprehensible to those taught to read them. I need nothing more."

Kyle nods.
"So... it's fun?"

[Twi]

"Can it teach you to play chess?"

Marie pokes her head out of the fourth wall!

 "What's fun, reading the Necronomicon? I already read it five times." she says, ignoring Marie.

[Twi]

"...I'll take that as a no. Can it teach you to slip the surly bonds of earth and visit the sun, moon and stars? Ask the digitigrades over in the city. You'd be surprised."

Marie vanishes back into the fourth wall!
