Marie is still buried in paperwork. Sarah comes in, glaring at Luke in Lorenzo's Body.
"Oi."

Assertive tone. She was not happy. In that case, she heard about the whole incident. Smartly dressed, body language showing authority, but not enough to be military. She has unbinded my brother and on top of that, shocked him awake considering that the taser is supposed to have him unconcious until this whole ordeal is done. She has intellect. She has authority, and along with that, intellect and knowledge, while having an aura of norm, not too snobby. She must be.. an educator. Luke thought.

"Would you like a drink? Professor?" Luke asks.

"Half blooded freak... you.." Lorenzo was on verge of explosion.

"You know why he's here. Undo it. That is all."

She storms off, in order to avoid punching him.

Luke washes his cup.

"Would you like a drink....half blooded freak?" Luke asks.

"Y..you...how can you..you dare.."

"How does it feel? Do you feel humiliated? I sure did. Look. If I didn't do this, there is a high probability- over 70% in fact, that you are going to go off and do something stupid like wrecking this whole place because you didn't like a customer, or because that customer was a different race, or even better, you could get yourself killed because you can't keep your damn mouth shut about pride and stupid stuff like that! Do you have any idea how much people I had to apologise to today because of you causing trouble from day 1? But you. You have too much pride don't you?"[/b

"I'll give you your body when the club closes. Now be quiet. Customers are starting to like Lorenzo Mckenzie because of his 'jerk with a heart of gold' attitude."

Miranda is coming in to have a drink. And sees Luke and Lorenzo.

"Oh, horsefeathers."

"By the way, they swapped bodies, but I nonetheless give you the right to punch my bartender in the face. Luke Mckenzie deserves it for pulling a stupid stunt like this, and this time he'll get exactly as much pain as he needs."

Marie pops up. Miranda is clenching her fist. Alicia may be around, but is getting outta here.

"You have the rights to punch me once I get back to my body. I do not want to hurt the body that is not mine."

Luke speaks. Lorenzo is silent.

"Would you like a drink....detective?"

[Twi]

"Eh, too bad. Lorenzo Mckenzie deserves his body to be hurt anyways. Tentacle time~"

Marie is now holding both of the Mckenzie's in place. Miranda is working up a good psychotic grin.

"I've been readin' up on law. Transferin' consciousness without consent is a serious crime here that violates a person's right to their own body. Normally, I should be puttin' you in jail or somethin'. But, since your brother has been equally a jerk, I won't. As much of a jerk as he is, though, this is still not right. What about your life? Sarah told me you had your own body tied up in an alley somewhere. What about the people who care about you? That diva gal? Monsieur Gaston? Hell, even I give a bit of a damn. You're makin' him suffer while you take his life from him, and your own friends suffer while you worry them.

So for that reason..."

She promptly slugs Luke in the solar plexus. Ow.

The man watches this from just inside of the door of the office, leaning on the door frame as he did. Though they can't see is expression something about the way he looks and how he holds himself seems to indicate that he is at least amused.

Luke feels immense pain, shaking and collapsing on the ground.

"W..whether they care or not is not my problem. They only care because of their self righteous empathy do they not? Just how many of them would actually go so far for me? And.. if doing this can minimize any damage done because it keeps my brother out of trouble, what's the problem? I see no reason for you to care."

Luke feels pain, and Lorenzo is glad that he is not feeling it.

[Twi]

"Because you're a human being. A stupid, self-sacrificin', cheatin', complex, annoyin', nice human being."

She turns to Lorenzo.

"You, on the other hand, are just guilty of bein' a stuck-up and a jerk. Still human."

Aaand she punches him too.

Marie is enjoying this.

The man starts to chuckle under his breath. It comes out as raspy and wheezing, and not all together humans. "Ah what feels these mortals beh."
