Luke leaves Lorenzo, and wonders back to cottage.

"Eldon and Risa... are they still out?" Luke mutters to himself sadly while nibbling on his candy.

"Hmph. I shall prepare." Lorenzo is behind the bar, ready to serve. He feels a bit humiliated, but his brother told him that he should do so in order to carry on the bloodline of Mckenzie.

[Twi]

Marie gives Lorenzo some more advices.

"The dog-man is named Cheru Dalo. He's a house-spirit, so he's used to service and will be happy to teach you. He will also be happy to backtalk you, especially since you're... you. The big furry spider is Korloth. He's an assassin and I believe he's witnessed you be a douchebag before so I recommend staying on his good side. Also, remember that you need to ID anyone who wants something alcoholic. Again, Cheru can help you on the 23 or so ID standards you'll need to know. Doesn't matter how they look- shapeshifters and strange folks abound in this place."

Cheru chimes in.
"Less 'happy' and more 'motivated by pay'."

"Does that mean I can also pay you to snark?"

Marie's eyes gleam with a disturbingly mischievous light.

"Do I not already offer that in my package?"

Korloth takes a moment to glare silently at Lorenzo.

(Why does Marie call Korloth a big furry spider anyway?)

((I vaguely remember someone calling Komato a race of big furry spiders. Probably wrong, though.))

"Hmph. It should be easy." Lorenzo takes out the sheet of paper that his brother gave him, to activate it.

"I shall be able to do this with ease."

[Vgray]

(More like reptilian/birdlike bipeds. Assassins look more human than your regular Komato grunt I should point out.)

"Can I just say I don't like this idea?"

[Twi]

"One more tip: Being a bartender means you're representing the place. In other words, be nice and be a friendly face. I know that's hard for you, but at least try not to be a jerk."

Marie nods at Korloth.

Lorenzo simply activates the paper. He feels a sudden jolt, and the figure that Luke drew on the paper is secretly absorbed. Luke is now in Lorenzo's body.

"Do not worry. I can do this with ease." 'Lorenzo' says as his stance is firm. He crunches up the paper, and puts it on his pocket.

Korloth makes Marie and his fellow barstaff coffee.

Meanwhile, the real Lorenzo wakes up in Luke's body, tied up in a dark alley with tape in his mouth to disable his mobility. Luke didn't want Lorenzo to cause trouble in his body. He feels a metallic thing in his neck, and didn't know what that was.

'Everything as planned.' Luke thinks to himself in Lorenzo's body

"Smiling face huh. I shall try my best." Says Lorenzo. He drinks his coffee.
