You swiftly look through this week’s copy of “The Imperial Horseman” in order to find out how your gladiator [and the other gladiators you had bet on. has done, due to the fact that sponsors are not allowed to see their gladiator until after the “Day of Rest”. Obviously there to prevent sponsors from pushing their gladiator any harder than necessary.

Quote from: Income Totals to be paid at Week 2
Savarrior Matarrus will gain 25gp in addition to income.
Biggus Dickus will gain 32gp in addition to income.
Neal Kynes will gain 120gp in addition to income.
Ms. Pretty Obvious will gain 23gp in addition to income.
Lady Wolf will gain 40gp in addition to income.
Smyt will gain no additional funds next week.

THE FOLLOWING GLADIATORS ARE OFFERING THEIR SERVICES TO…

GLADIATOR LEVEL UPS!

Fun fact about your gladiator leveling up: They return to full health for free! So that’s pretty nice.

So yeah, the two of you who got leveled gladdys, please state what you want them to become. It’ll occur as soon as you pick. Remember though children, your money doesn’t come in until next turn starts.

Revive Wernher [-10 gp]

You hand your money to the Heirophant who smiles as she recites her words of power. Suddenly Wernher's meager groans of pains grow into curses towards his opponent.

"Are you okay?" You ask concerned. He was a pretty big investment, all things considered.

"Yeah... Yeah... I feel awful though..."

"Hm... Alright, let's go home. Can you walk?"

"A little..."

You know what? I'll allow everyone who's on the waitlist to gamble up to half the max bet of any match. Keep you guys interested and give you a bit of a leg up when you're eventually put into the game. Seems fair, since you'll be stuck with the original four units. Y'know?

Do waitlisters still get income?

Hm... A very good question... I'm going to say yes. Starting the week they sign up. So if you signed up Week 5, you wouldn't get the kickback from earlier weeks of income. I'll go ahead and pop the other couple of waitlisters into the system and then add y'alls income.

y'alls

Bruh.

Do we have to keep track of our own waitlister income? I'm still trying to figure it out...

I'll be handling it. I won't state "TCM gained +50gp this week from income" because that'd clutter the thread, but I will be adding it regardless.

Well I did finally add your [TCM's] sheet to the thing. As a bonus, I added the +50gp to all waitlisters.

I didn't see Paladin's sheet... Maybe I missed it. If he, or somebody, could point out its location [if it has one] that'd be great.

It bears mentioning that while I might wait for the players to gamble, I don't extend that to waitlisters so if you don't gamble by the time I post the turn... Sorry...

ALSO, forget the whole "half of maximum bet" thing. You guys'll need the money when you finally start.

So, do Hobgoblins cost more gold to train per exp point?

EDIT: Goddamnit, Fame Level 2 was SO CLOSE

Tier 3 cost 2gp

Tier 4 cost 5gp

Tier 5 cost 10gp

Tier 6 cost 15gp

etc. etc.

In 'dat case, he'll upgrade to a Hobgoblin.

Sadly, I doubt this will actually result in him becoming more disciplined. In any case, praise him for his performance, give him his pay.
