Any gladiator who has offered you their services consider it an open offer. That is to say that you guys can purchase a peasant at any time. However, if a Squire offers Gun their service, Kj1225 [who was offered a Wurfaxt] cannot enlist him. So... That's a thing. Good idea? Bad?

I don't know if you caught the religious context to the whole arena thing. Throwing a fight would be the equivelant of pimp slapping Odin on the ass in the middle of churchor something. Except the gods take an active role in things. Not only did you piss off one god, but you pissed off all six.

Odds are, at best, throwing the fight would get you a permanent ban.

You weren't yet. You might not be. They're a dwarvern axe thrower. Essentially a hardier version of the human archer.

That sounds awesome. Especially if the axe is over sized.

It is not oversized. It is a generic Dwarvern throwing ax.

I thought about betting on Leon's opponent and telling Leon to lie down and die or throw his pitchfork or something.

I guess I'll just max bet on Big Dick instead.

John is front and center, attacking with caution and using the cunning nature I've instilled in him to know when to go from offence to defense.

Hm... So I have a quick question: How should I flavor the fights? Right now I have 3 ideas for it, each with pros and cons.

1) Don't. Just ignore flavor entirely and move on with the game. This would take the least amount of time, but seems really boring for me AND you...

2) Just the highlights. Written in the Imperial Horseman style that I've been doing so far. Just hit the highlight of each match, and no more. Stays true to the tone so far [I think] and takes very little time.

3) Write the Whole fight. Obviously short descriptions of the fight, but could be fun. Would take the most time but it might be hard to deal with after some time.

Do this round in 3 just so we can see the full detail.  Do the next one in 2 so we can compare.


I tend to favor 2, but it'd be nice to have a comparison.

Or you can do highlights for most of them, and full flavor on whichever you thought was the best.
