Is it possible to hunt again?

Not in the winter, as the animals are hibernating and the ground is too thick with snow.
We are going to need to work harder to stock up on firewood. Havel's daughter is a nice choose but we are still pretty young and i think we should wait before we choose someone to marry. I don't know how the caravans work do you get more food if you bring in more timber if you do then that's another reason to work harder if not well that hunter trait might come in useful.

The caravan only require a minimum, and with them it's no bonus or reward. If you have enough, they take it and feed you, if it's extra, they take everything and give you the same amount, if it's not enough, they still take it and give you nothing. It's the wonders of working in a feudal system.

Ok if its a bad winter we are screwed. So cut back and ration our food so that we have extra in the winter as a history fan iv heard of the starvation and poverty winter caused in feudal Europe. (Thank you for updating i really like this game.  :D )

The hunters charge it en masse, hoping to take it down with brute force. The beast tries to run, when one of its hinds leg is slashed apart by a broadaxe.

You spend a few moments staring at her when she suddenly looks up, causing you to dart away back to your home. What was that about?

Havel bellows in his signature deep voice, "We must prepare, for Winter is coming."
Build a giant wallDoes it matter? We're not farmers, so it's not like we can't produce our tithes in winter, and the Lord's not bloody likely to stop wanting wood when it's winter.
We should probably rig up some snowshoes though, maybe a sled.

After working in the fields with Havel, you grow closer with him, and learn that while he is more comfortable in the woods than yourself, his past experiences, particularly with vicious wild beasts, has made him skeptical of what lies beyond the trees as well.

I suggest investigating how the others keep warm over the winter. Maybe by collecting small branches/twigs left over from the work? Or producing more than enough and just keeping some of it?

I'd like to point out that the amount of wood required even for laying the basic foundations for a shed is currently beyond your current capacity, unless you'd like to go a few weeks without food.

Oh, how embarassing.

Still, how do you intend to go about making the sled? You have some raw materials, but I'll need some sort of design, as there are many types of sleds.

The most basic and cheapest resource wise sled that there is. (i don't know any sled designs.  :( )
