((Is it agreed that we will become Chaotic Neutral with heroic disposition toward Mel))

Neutral chaos is the best chaos, and lawful people are silly. Mel is our friend and ally - being evil towards her would not be in our best interest.

Inquire about the method with which these undead came to be - if by magic, ask if we could possibly learn some. But yes, figure out what we can get.

Edit: Wouldn't it be funny if we became a lich? Also, five miles through a land filled with the undead? Daaaayuuum! Mel must be a badass!

Mel, do you know what the undead came from
nope. No one does
You head into the cave. Inside you see a roped off area, and a man with armor and a great sword.
He turns and sees you
Ah, Mel's friend walks.
Hi Jack. We will take our class test now.
Ah, good. Jon, enter the arena.
Uh, ok
You enter the arena and Jack follows
Are you ready?
No?
Jack hits you in the face and keeps throwing punches
Come on, fight!
Do you:
Block, and hit back(fighter)
Dodge his attacks and throw a rock(ranger)
Put your hands in front of you(Mage)
((Remember, this is a large party based game, and you pick ALL of there classes. This WILL change what Mel can get. You class will become different based on your skills ))

Put your hands in front of us; after all, we don't have any fighting abilities, and someone like Jon is probably more likely to try and block. Also, mages.

+1. Since he believes himself to be in a video game of some sort, it is perfectly reasonable for him to think that spellcasting is possible.

True, but I thought Mel was gonna be our caster?

Bury him under a mountain of rocks!

Edit: Dawnstar just proved Mel was a badass, currently without magical power, by making her drag our body five miles.

I guess just do this.

Naw, Mel's gonna be our healer.

Would she not need to be the mage then? I mean, our options are fighter, ranger, and mage, and I don't see us having two mages considering what Dawnstar said about our choice affecting what Mel gets. You know, about it changing what she can get.

Oh, maybe. But we'll just give her a few bandages and a first aid kit. Then she'll be the healer. But if, for some reason, she can't do that: go for ranger.

Agreed about the ranger, and that's not very healer-ish, silly. We'll probably end up taking that role, at least a little bit. On the other hand.... If Mel can be a Cleric like the ones from say, Pathfinder, that would be cool! Since, you know, they can actually hold their own in a fight.

Oh, and because of stuff like this: http://paizo.com/prd/spells/stormOfVengeance.html

Can't edit, but this changes Mel's classes. If you want her to be a healer, than pick fighter.
Note: this class thing I've set up is weird, but here is the basics
if you get all of moves or levels, the class changes.
Ex: Mage learns 5 fire spells, fire mage
I haven't thought of all of the combinations, BUT you can combine almost any thing
Ex: mage learns how to use a bow, ranger +mage
Whenever you level up, you gain learning points or Lp. You spend this Lp to get new skills from NPCs. You can only learn from them if they have a similar class
Ex: holy fighter can learn from a light mage, or a fighter
Everyone has a class.
Also
But we'll just give her a few bandages and a first aid kit.
That...actuality is a class, medic.
