And so Baremy, assisted by a small team of engineers who he never saw ever again for some reason, built the blueprint for Project SCARECROW, the first space station.

Naturally, command wasn't allowed to know about it, so the launch was scheduled at night (and after two simulations that showed Baremy why struts exist)
But nonetheless, the actual launch went off without a hitch, its initial stage first clocking in at a whooping 2 meters per second, but that quickly increased

Here it is at 35 m/s, and nearly out of fuel.

Thankfully, the second booster stage does much better then the first, getting us all the way up to 52 hundred meters before burning out.

See?

Our first liquid stage manages to get us all the way through the atmosphere, to over 100000 meters, and still has some fuel to begin the circularization burn!

Who's a good little engine cluster? YOU ARE! :3

Sexy stable orbit courtesy of the-little-engine-that-could-and-could-with-only-half-its-fuel, shown in next photo

Also in photo: All docking systems are open and ready for business.

And that's our update. Now where do I zip this up and send it to?

I had one, but deleted it because I never used it for anything. Couldn't figure that shit out. Anywhere else?

Somewhere where the next guy can get it without too many problems.
Email it to them?

I dunno. Ask ShadowHammer.

That's a nice looking first part for a station, I suggest you name it, the ISS's modules all have individual names, Perhaps since it's teh first part of project scarecrow, what about Crane? :p While scarecrow itself is secret, perhaps you could tell people it's named after the bird, and it flies, see, it makes sense!

Its already named "Project SCARECROW"

Yeah.

Anyway, PM sent to the next guy that he needs to give me his email or at least pay enough attention to the thread to provide an alternate way to get the save to him.

Rocket construction went well, and I have landed on and left Minmus. Currently the ship is orbiting Kerbin, and I'm going to figure out if I have sufficient Delta V to stop by Mun on the way back. I'll finish the turn and the full update will be up tomorrow.
