Then you get cities like Paris where you should basically just kill yourself already.

You won’t have to think anymore: it’ll be just like having fun!

I obtained a fairly good grasp of stack based programming and realized it's not very different from what I'm used to.

I've experienced yet another day of life.

It is glorious.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

pkop has been having one of the worst months of his life.  In the past 45 days  he lost his lease, lost his per diem under-the-table job, and found out his mother is moving to the third world, not from her but his family who hates her.  Ivebeen sleeping on a couch :/  of my stepfathers ex-wife, who harbours her lazy (read chronically unemployed fat gamer) son and his son, who is young enough  towake up and cry @3am.  To say nothing of my 4mile daily bikeride, the 11pm spanish sitcom, and the terrible diet/exercising.

Anywho, today I

- volunteered at my local soup kitchen
- Agreed to volunteer at the soup kitchen on sunday
-agreed to volunteer at the blood drive tuesday
-got money for food this week
-did the jobsearch thing
-spent time doing nothing
-resisted temptation

the exwife has been calling me 'fat' (and I have gained 15lbs), but it turns out she remembers my sixpack and is . . . open to suggestions despite a rather large language barrier.

:/  Im soo tired atm, but im glad to still be active.  Its been hard getting employed about here with my drunk driving charge and my part-time availability.  I filled out several para-career job applications this month, and all of them asked about my license.  one even informally laughed at me saying they were getting ppl with Masters degrees applying for a job.

It's great that you can still appreciate the little things despite all the hardship. I really hope your situation improves, and until then, keep on trucking!

also today i...

- Got up before 1pm (mind you, i'm unemployed and nocturnal)
- Found out that the Bo in Warframe knocks people the fuck around, much to my amusement
- Played a shitload of Craft the World, which is strangely hooking
- Went out driving without causing the end of the world (woo drivers license)
- Smelled the delicious air that is forest with light rain (i really like the smell and perceived purity of freshly rained air)
- Ate DEE-LICIOUS salami-esque meat snacks (some kind of tapas)
- Witnessed the 3.5kg of cheese that my parents brought home from the store
- Fantasized about devouring said cheese in a violent feeding frenzy

So that's pretty neat so far. Love me sum rainy air. In fact, i think i'd be right at home in the rainy Scottish highlands. :U

>Did new batch of kombucha
>Finally cleaned out and organized kitchen cabinets
>Planted some garlic to grow in the kitchen in my newly painted pot
>Walked through the park to the supermarket for groceries
>Football game let out with a mob of fans pouring through the park and down the streets, riot police everywhere to keep things in order (this particular team has mostly skinhead fans, sadly) - for once, made my whole journey without fear of them
>Oiled/washed my hair, dandruff seems to be getting better

Successfully made a lua module for DFHack. Next step: use it to make what should play something like an entirely new game mode in DF.

Yesterday I ran my first session of Dungeon World with a new group. One of the players realized it wasn't their type of game and dropped out, but the 3 who remained said they had a lot of fun.

Tbh I think Polish translators are guilty of putting our equivalent of 'happy' there as well :P

Ontopic now:

>Continued developing NEF3 lore and finished arabic expansion for the games' tileset!
>Expanded my (censored) game with sci-fi elements
>Made a soup (just plain chicken broth) entirely on my own without supervision! The taste was lackluster (I need more veggies next time) but hey! I made a soup! C:
