Managed my department and met the daily quota on my own today. Not bad, but looking forward to having a lead back tommorow

i did over 12 hours of productive academic work today and by the end of it i was thinking 3 or 4 times faster then usual

I only just got to my computer today, but yesterday was eventful enough that it still counts for today, so...

- Successfully acquired my drivers license, hooray!
- Exchanged a few casual words with complete strangers in the bus without dying shortly afterwards
- Ate a sweet BURGAH
- Found out that Broforce is apparently made of equal parts bro, America and chrome eagle biceps
- Learned about the band Suncrown
- Immediately bought all of Suncrown's albums
- Did not regret buying these two albums at all because they're amazing
- Doodled some silly things at night without hating on hands
- Actually slept pretty well during the night

So that's pretty neat. I don't think today will be quite as eventful, but hey!

Not really worth editing a post if the thread is on another page already, so instead I'll post a new one!

So far today I've done the following:
  • I finished up the shading on one of my sprites
  • I made a sprite of a (futuristic-ish) bow and arrow
  • Woke up before my alarm could wake me up. Again.
  • Been to the church to finish my lent retreat we've had this week.
  • Finished my Gun Francisco kinda-design doc. Or at least got it to a readable state.
  • Ate some fast food with friends after the retreat.

Yesterday I

  • Finished programming a game for class. It is about spaceships fighting in an asteroid field.
  • Convinced my girlfriend to play Dwarf Fortress
  • Made my sister play Dark Souls

    Resisted buying an energy drink for the first time in weeks. Instead, discovered a healthy snack in wasabi peas. Later today will see me completing my third consecutive day of reattempting the Nerd Fitness beginning exercise plan.

    Avis-Mergulus: Serious kudos on the cat thing. Extremely impressive.

    -Played fun review games with 3rd graders
    -Successfully averted an impending meltdown by reciting soothing and focusing poem
    -Had a good lesson worldbuilding with L
    -Found and printed a copy of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for L to read in English
    -Finished re-reading The Restaurant At the End Of the Universe; that's 18 books so far this year
    -Everyone at work is blown away by the quality of the projects my kids are making for our charity fair
    -Bob Rossiffied a flower pot for growing fresh herbs in the kitchen
    -Persuaded co-teacher to watch Into Darkness by exploiting her obsession with Benedict Cumberbatch
