Be conquered, then absorbed into the enemy's kingdom. Forget about it. 3,000 years archologist discover it and set it off... almost, but luckily they know what it is and avoid it.
It is brought to a museum. Then the bombs fall and society crumbles. 10,000 years later tribal people come upon the meseum ruins, not as lucky as the archeologists when they find it.
