Have him build this and trap hopeless people in there, and put those who try to escape in a kibble production facility.

But now it will be this:

Put lightsabers on it then spin it around in a group of people, and put the remains in a kibble production facility.

Shoot an alien with the cannon. Give the alien the ship. He will want all the humans to enjoy the same 'effects'. And begin shooting everyone. The mothership will see this as the initial assault and quickly join in.
