Laxmi looks at Keith for a couple seconds and then sighs, "Start at the beginning please. You've completely lost me. You're going to a party hosted by this person's rival?"

"Yeah, some of my colleagues and I did some good work for him. This is a secondary reward. I got room for two guests as well if you're hungry."

"There'll be other guests there too, right? Lots of other women?" she says, glancing backwards at the man.

"We probably won't stay then. He's still a big perv, even like this."

"It won't be a problem. They can hold their own."

Laxmi shrugs, "Whatever. If you're really going to waste your seats on us go ahead."

Keith nods. They seem to be entering a neighborhood.

The lamia shuts up and looks around the neighbourhood with a critical eye, keeping a look out for the house they'll be entering for the dinner.

Keith leads the the three to a mansion.There's a tacky looking van outside the gate That Keith enters and after a little while exits in a suit.

Lamxi looks at Keith in their new suit, and then snaps her fingers. Her robes change, the material suddenly looking as if they were made of silk, and the yellow embroidery starts to shimmer as if it was real gold. The effect is somewhat subtle, but she suddenly wouldn't look out of place in a fancy dress party. After waiting a couple seconds for her companion to catch up, she snaps her fingers at him so that his robes undergo a similar change. As a kind of explanation, she says, "This job does have a few perks you know. Well? Are we ready?"

Keith nods and walks up to the gate. He talks to a guard and the gates open for them.

The lamia slithers back to talk to the old man, and after some muted whispers, prodding and a dodged attempt to cop a feel, manages to convince him to follow Keith into the mansion.
