Sol summons a Spirit Flute. It doesn't do anything this turn because I'm going to need a better explanation for it's ability than just 'sends a sharp shard of music at a target'.

[75! vs. 18] The dice gods are in Spensir's favour today it seems, as he catches Soarla completely off guard and slashes her arms for 25 damage! Mind you the whole arm cutting thing doesn't happen. Especially not rolling a 25 for damage. Presumably Soarla has arm guards or something to keep them from being severed. Or she's just extremely tough or something. I don't know, realism doesn't really apply too much here.

Soarla unleashes a full powered Sever straight into Spensir, demonic energy exploding as it hits.

[63 vs. 48] The GM didn't realize that Sever is supposed to be Soarla's basic magic attack, so she gets some MP refunded from earlier in the fight. And then loses all of it and more, since Spensir has his Wards up. Oh well, she still manages to deal 45 damage!

[Sanure]

Soarla jumps away from Spensir, "So, your sword can even dampen my magics? Then I will resort to no longer using them." Soarla holds her sword infront of her before thrusting it into the ground. She sets a single hand on the hilt and utters a single word. "Oversoul." Soarla's form pulses for a second as her sword begins to send demonic energy into her. When she looks back at Spensir and removes her Sword from the ground, she has an afterimage surrounding her. It appears to be a large knight wielding the same sword. Soarla makes it apparent that Spensir is fightning both her and the sword now, "Now we will see who is mightier with their sword. No tricks, no magic. Just us and our swords."

Soarla uses 'oversoul' boosting all of her stats by +15 for 5 turns. This uses no mana, since the sword is just transferring it's soul into Soarla.

((Soarla indeed is wearing armor strong enough to protect her from mutilation while light enough to move around in. Also, I am off to bed, goodnight~))

"Well...shit."

He keeps his sword in front of him, hoping his advantage in reach can prove decisive. She had a special sword too, then.

"Can you do the same thing? -- No? Well, shit. Again. So what can we do? -- Not exactly an option, at this point."

He grimaced. Fine then. She wanted to play rough? They'd play fucking rough. Lightning crackles along the sword as it lets the wards die. This would require a bit more than was already in place. Lightning raced back and forth along the blade, along the armor, as Spensir felt the blade fill him with energy. He wasn't going to resort to that, not yet, but for the moment...

"You've got a final form, eh? Me too. Too bad for you I don't need it."

The sword grew, widening and thickening, and lengthening greatly, the runes inscribed on it glowing with a flickering, intense light as sparks played along it's edges. Spensir could feel some of his injuries numbing, the bleeding slowing. That was good. He just wished he wouldn't have to pay for it later.

"You wanna dance, let's dance. Come on!"

Ancient Might: +10 Strength, +5 Dexterity to hit only
Lifeline: Heals Spensir for 50% of his lost health. Only works once for each 'chunk' of health(aka if he takes another 100 damage and uses it a second time, he'll only gain 50 health back).
