Standing outside Frigid's door is a tall hooded figure with a white mask. He is wearing white gloves with an intricate transmutation circle drawn on it with the three alchemic principles (mercury, salt, sulfur) with mysterious text, and on his other glove another transmutation circle which seems to be designed to separate the three principles by creating an alchemic inbalance once the circles are combined. With anyone that has knowledge of alchemy, the circle would be designed to decompose living tissue.

"T̒ȟy̅ ́s̈́h̾a͝l̓t͠ ̃g̎i̒v̈ě ̇m̚é ̉t͠h̊e̍ ̈́e̒l̑f̕," he says in a deep voice full of mystery.

"Maybe, if you speak in a way that isn't outdated by a couple hundred years."

Trianna is scared for her life right now, having no idea what the mysterious figure is. In fact, no one does.

Cheru has enough knowledge of alchemy gleaned from his masters to know that that circle is bad news. He clears out of the way.

"And here I thought the dragon was bad enough. You're outnumbered, at least one of us is unliving, so on and so forth, exempla gratis, so the short answer is no."

The man taps the floor with his black shoe and a circle of green fire erupts around him and shoots outwards, shrouding the wooden bits of the apartment in the blaze.

Cheru is unfazed, presdigitating a tranq gun to his side.
"Remind me, why is the butler the one who has to deal with home invaders?"
Carrick raises his head up from his shovel, sensing a disturbance! He slowly lumbers back and probably won't make it back for a bit.

If Cheru knew enough about chemistry and the behavior of the fire, he would know that it would be from the chemical Boron.

He's a butler, not a chemist, though he's had a lot of chemists as masters.

Either way, he stays the fuck away from that fire.

The man then disappears with a swirl of purple energy and appears behind Cheru. He places both his hands on his back, activating the transmutation.

If Cheru's skin is organic, it would begin to decay--or at least decay the hull of his essence.

Cheru recoils from the sudden spike of pain of suddenly decaying and smacks the man with his tranq gun.
The thuds of Carrick's steps can be heard.
