"I see......

It's not many times me and Carrick see such a thing. When we do....." She flickers slightly, her ghostly visage solidifying into light, pale skin.

A shovel hitting the floor can be heard upstairs, followed by Cheru's growling. Carrick can be heard apologising.

She just nods, standing up and going upstairs.

 "..Is something wrong?" she asks with a sad voice.

Cheru sweeps up a fallen glass, grumbling.

Carrick looks apologetically at her, his shovel propped up against the wall. Gelid's bed is also propped up; Cheru did so as Carrick is far too big for such a little bed.

"My apologies. I am exceedingly clumsy."

Frigid glares at him before walking back down and into her room, slamming the door.

Maja sighs and turns to the catgirl, scrutinizing her for a bit before sticking out a hand to shake, "Hey there, I'm Maja. You bunking here too?"

Carrick sighs, picking up his shovel. He seems mournful, as if this isn't the first time this has happened.
"I will sleep elsewhere then."
"Take my room. It's big enough and there's nothing to break." Cheru sighs and ushers him out. He seems less angry than exasperated and concerned for Frigid.
The catgirl shakes it. She feels cold.
"Elizabeth Selan. And...you could say I'm bunking. I....don't really need sleep."

The air in front of Cheru warps and disfigures before a man made completely out of shadows appears, which only Carrick can see. No one else can.

Ah, the second stage of grief... Anger. he hears a voice in his mind.
