The lamia is completely unsurprised just replies laconically, "That's why."

And a handful of cleavage would be a very impressive thing to be able to grab considering Keith's bust.

Rest assured that whatever there was, the old man got some of it. After patting Keith's shoulder properly this time he wanders off a bit as the lamia stays to chat with Keith. "It's not too late to slap him, you know. I was looking forward to it."

"I don't really mind it. It's not like I care to much."

"You're one of the few, trust me. Most people slap him or take it for flirting," the lamia grumbles.

The lamia rolls her eyes, "So? Doesn't give him permission to act like that."

The lamia nods and holds out a hand to shake Keith's. "Laxmi. Sorry about the old man, long story."

Keith shrugs and takes her hand before leaning down to kiss it.

Laxmi raises an eyebrow and wipes her hand off on her dress.
