Soarla attacks Spensir by directly attacking him. If she succeeds in hitting she releases a sever along with the attack.

[40 vs. 66] Soarla's attempt to confuse and annoy the GM by attacking and using Sever in the same turn is foiled by Spensir, who easily dodges the attack.

Use Lightning Cutter to parry as best I can.

[68 vs. 71] Mind you, Soarla is no slouch when it comes to the dodging department either. It takes more effort on her part to avoid Spensir's counter-attack, but it still doesn't hit. Such a productive turn.

Panting from the effort of dodging her attacks, but glad that he had been able to stall thus far, Spensir waited again for his opponent to make a move, running through his options in his head. If she attacked him physically, he would respond in kind, but if she let loose another one of those "Sever"s or whatever, he'd need to use the Wards again to defend himself. How much longer could she keep this up, though?...with how powerful she was now, it was starting to look like it would take too long...

Soarla stops attacking and begins walking away. Soarla had sensed something that needed her attention.
"I have business to attend. This win is yours. for now." Soarla sheaths her sword, her oversoul disappearing. She walks out of the arena floor and leaves.

((I won't be on for a few days, so Gonna have to end the fight here unfortunatly. I don't want to hang up a character.))

The crowd is... rather confused to say the least. A fighter suddenly leaving in the middle of a match is pretty rare, especially for such an exciting and epic match. It doesn't take long for things to turn ugly, as the crowd feels cheated out of their money. Of course the guards and attendants will get the crowd settled long before they'd do anything rash, but they still jeer and insult both of the combatants.

((Also, I guess that it's up to Nomad for what Spensir won from the match.))

Spensir just makes a "What am I supposed to do; it's not my fault" motion with his hands, before shrugging and heading inside. The crowd did get a show, after all, even if it wasn't one with a climax.

The crowd obviously doesn't care that Spensir had no effect on Soarla leaving, though thankfully their yells become muffled as he heads inside the arena to claim his prize.

Elf's characters exist. Carrick looks distressed. Cheru is still nowhere in sight.

He sighs and returns to silent contemplation. He seems slightly less distressed, but clearly, this is unusual.
