Tia wakes up, finally,  little addled, sitting in an appropriately sized chair. No, she is not strapped down. She isn't even caged. In fact, she's sitting next to a throne, even if said throne is empty. On the left side, of course.

Magnus nods and juggles a ball of lightning, purely to impress Ryaku.
Tia lets out a yawn and stretches.
 "Are we here, White Prince?"

The man who had accompanied her is nowhere in sight. What is in sight, though, are two rather bored looking guards, one of whom has red and white strips as hair, the other of whom has webbing in their fingers and chill-blue skin. They're discussing something, though it's hard to tell what from where Tia is.

"Excuse me, gentlemen," Tia calls out. She also sees if she can use her magic.

She cannot. At least not easily; the room she's in seems to dislike magic of almost all kinds. If it was similar to what many nobles in the fae courts did, it might be cause for alarm. But this was the throne room, and many monarchs prefer to make it so only their magic can be used; a way of ensuring that others know their place, and a safety precaution against assassins.

The guards look up for a second and the eyebrows raise on one of them. He asks the other a quick question before responding

"Yes, m'lady? What 's'it you need?"

"Why, where is the queen, if I may ask?"

Maja goes looking for Kyle I guess? I dunno.


Maria starts work on Niisa's new blindfold/camera system thing. I should probably think up a good name for it.

"C'nductin' business, I do believe. She woulda been here, beggin' your pardon, but somethin' came up with a feud b'twixt a few o' Her Grace's subjects. Ain't that right, Clove?"

The other one, with the skin that looked like he'd drowned, nodded amiably.

"She told us to ask for your humblest patiences, as she should be back shortly. Yeah. Was that good, Clove? Did I say it right?"

Once more, the other guard nodded, this time a hint of amusement lightening his features. Cu Sidhe were quite intelligent, but they took their joys from the simple things in life, and preferred to make sure they did things right for their friends, just like the canines whose forms they could take. At least the other one was a Merrow, and not a Cait Sidhe...

Kyle is on the couch sipping coffee.

Maja grunts in greeting and flops onto the couch next to Kyle. And I do mean flop, as she doesn't sit but lays on her stomach like always.
