Maja's eyes instantly narrow, and she grabs a handful of finger foods and creeps closer to Altrius's group to listen in to their conversation.

[Sanure]

Altrius' conversation is mostly about trade routes and protection requests. Altrius appears to be really interested in the beneficial relationships of the nations that live near his home and the upkeeping of them. Oh, it seems the Goblin woman is proposing a marriage arrangement between Altrius and her eldest daughter. Altrius politely declines stating that he is, by his traditions, not allowed to take a mate until his ascension to cheiftan of his clan, or until he becomes the King of Dragons.

Maja growls softly as Altrius mentions his traditions about mating, and tries to silence the noise by stuffing her face with the food she grabbed. But otherwise she just continues to shoot him death glares and slowly creep forward to listen in better, making no attempt to try and be inconspicuous.

"Hello ladies and gentlemen--than you for coming to my wife's birthday party," says a tall and handsome vampire man as he approaches a microphone podium, "Please, have an excellent time."

Yukari also stuffs her face, but more elegantly. Or she tries to.

As Maja creeps closer, a familiar smell would appear near her as Soarla and Ryaku block her path, 'We apologize, but we have orders not to let anyone near Altrius while he has this meeting." Maja would probably then notice the absence of people within 5 feet of Altrius.

Maja growls at the pair, "Whatever. I can wait until he's ready." She doesn't move from her spot though, but switches her death glare to Soarla and Ryaku.

[Sanure]

Soarla and Ryaku return to their job unfazed.

The Triton walks off leaving the Kobold prince and the Goblin Businesswoman to talk with Altrius. THey seem to be chatting about the recent decline in the worshippers of the Aidern statuary in the Demavin Basin. Altrius nods, agreeing that the statuary is going to sink into disrepair if nothing is done to increase the pilgrims to it.

Maja grumbles to herself and starts pacing back and forth, her gaze boring a hole in the back of Altrius's skull. She's only paying half attention to their conversation though, not being one for religion.

[SOLDIER First]

Lionan gets a plate of food and sits alone somewhere.

[Sanure]

Eventually Altrius waves goodbye to the Goblin and Kobold as Soarla whispers something into his ear. Altrius nods and turns around and walks up to Maja, "Good evening Maja. Soarla informed me that you were waiting to talk to me." Woah, Altrius appears to be even more charismatic and is exerting his dominating Aura at an even greater rate. Talk about dignified.

Maja stops and stares at Altrius for several long seconds. Partly because of his dominating aura and charisma, and partly because she realizes she has no idea what to say. Eventually she manages to work a blunt, "Fuck you."

Yukari watches, still eating.

Noise follows as the large mansion doors open. In steps Dr. Vitchard Magnus, a tall man with sharp ears and snow white hair so carefully spiked back. His eyes are pure white save for small azure pupils. He wears Magicsteady blue robes with an emerald adorning his belt. His titanium gauntlets are on his hands, intricately decorated and etched with designs, and adorned with sapphires.
The headmaster of Magicsteady glances around as a smile appears on his face. He continues walking inside with three people filing in behind him--Clive, Violet, and Oromis.

[Sanure]

Altrius blinks, "I'm...Sorry?" He looks utterly confused.
