Maja gives Kyle a look as if he's crazy. "Well I'd earn as much money too, but you don't see me throwing it around like it grows on trees."

"But shit it's like, ninety nine cents!"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"And you wouldn't see me spending that much on stuff I don't need. The only reason I'm buying a dress is to scope out some royalty and get fed. End of story." Maja takes a dress off the rack, looks it over, and then puts it back, grumbling to herself.

"... Wait, I don't have to pay for your dress?"
Kyle looks hopeful.

[USEC_OFFICER]

Maja looks sideways at Kyle, "Are you offering?"

Kyle sighs before nodding.

[USEC_OFFICER]

Maja looks at Kyle in disbelief, "Really? You're serious about this? How much? And why?" she adds as an afterthought.

"I don't really care and, let's be honest you probably didn't bring money anyways. I mean, you don't seem to be carrying any on you."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"They've got ways of hiding debit cards now, trust me. So are you still offering, or are you going to want to be paid back?"

Kyle looks at Maja in confusion before his eyes go downwards to check the most obvious place.
"I'll cover the bill..."

[USEC_OFFICER]

Maja stares at Kyle for a couple seconds, and then looks downwards to see exactly what he's gazing at. "You sure?" she asks, still wary and unable to believe he'd pay for something like this.

Kyle looks back up towards her face.
"Well, sure. You're my friend and it's not like it's a lot of money."

[USEC_OFFICER]

Maja bites her lip in thought as she mulls it over. Eventually she grumbles, "Alright, alright, this better not be a weird joke." She pulls a dress off of the rack and heads to the changing rooms to try it on. After a while she comes back to see what Tia and Kyle think of it. This dress is pretty plain but elegant, in green with some red threadwork to add a bit of colour. It fits her pretty well too, and has all of the adjustments for her wings and tail. The only problems is that it's unsurprisingly loose in the chest area and is rather worn, but for something in a thrift store it looks pretty good.
