Cheru draws closer.
"I happen to be skilled in what needs to be done for my charges, including protection, if so needed. You harm her, you're not getting out alive."
He growls.

Start the chase with Ascen carrying a trash can and throwing it once again and Blas blasting fire at the car.

Kyle climbs onto the car.

"Really then? I guess we're alike!"
Suddenly, she throws off her cloak. She is a slim harpy with blue feathers and large yellow eyes. With her other hand, she fires a bolt of lightning at Cheru.

[26+15] Ascen misses again.

[83+30] Blas fires again, and manages to completely stop the car. It hits the ground and begins to screech across it.

Cheru ducks. As he's tiny enough already, that should be easy.

Instead, he lunges at her to tackle her away from Gelid.

Kyle smashes through the opposite door.

The lighting bolt flies past Cheru, and he attempts to lunge.
[18+15] he misses and flies beside the harpy, next to the passenger seat.

Kyle rips the door open and climbs in the back seat.

Gelid's screams are stopped when the harpy slices the dagger across her neck.

Cheru then switches from grumpy to very silently pissed off.

He proceeds to hurl a flurry of knives at the harpy's head, prioritising removing the threat to his last remaining charge rather than rescuing someone who may well already be dead.

If Gelid is dead, then it isn't a problem. If she isn't, then healing her won't be a problem later.

Kyle reaches up from his position and grabs the harpy around the neck.

The harpy is ensnared in Kyle's grips. Cheru begins to throw a flurry of knives that precisely rip through the air and strike the harpy, easily killing her as the knives gore themselves in her.
Frigid eventually catches up, tears running down her face as she looms over Gelid.
 "G-Gelid.. Ge-Gelid... p-please answer me..." she sobs. Gelid remains unresponsive.

"Try to get her to Trianna. She may be able to help."
Kyle says as he tosses the body into a dumpster.

Cheru snarls at the harpy's corpse, before looking over to Frigid. His tone hasn't changed.
"I'll get help." He runs- or rather pounces off- as he looks for some sort of healing device or something; he could probably presdigitate bandages or very rudimentary medical gear but anything else is beyond him.
None finally catches up to them.
"What's going...." She stops.


((Uh, guys, we DO have a healer....))

Trianna is asleep and around a quarter mile away, so that wouldn't do well.

Frigid is sobbing loudly and trembling, holding her daughter in her arms as she spills a puddle of blood below her.
Cheru finds a hospital around four blocks away, but wouldn't help if Gelid is dead.

He growls, before punching the ground to vent. He failed Frigid.

Cheru shakes his head before standing up. Maybe Gelid was dead but it didn't matter. Letting his anger cloud his ability to serve his charges was counterproductive.

For now, he would remain as servile as ever, his emotions aside. Just as he had always done.
"...." None is clearly scared, as she pulls out her flute and begins to play a healing song.

The small slice on Gelid's neck heals, but Gelid herself remains as still as ever. The color slowly falls from her face.

"S-Someone g-get help! SOMEONE GET HELP!" Frigid screams, holding Gelid close to her.
