Out opens in front of Russel is a moderately large Roman esque arena with many spectators watching above him. Rocks are littered across the entire sandy and tough arena ground. The sport analyzers are smirking as he enters the arena and the spectators are cheering for Russel probably because he's a human. His opponent an Antwoman looks menacing with a kukri machete, some sort of dartgun, a padded jacket, tactical gloves, and a band in her hand that you'll usually see someone wearing.

Russel has jeans, a black hoodie, and an iron dagger.
"Well..." He grins

[Kassire]

Ascen takes up a low and wide position for combat and taunts "Too scared to put a bruise on your pretty face! Or are you going to fight me? Or you don't want your clothing ripped? Nevertheless humans are usually the ones who think they belong higher than other races! Maybe we will see the answer to that question at the end of this fight?"

"So, will you shake my hand? It'd be rude to not."
Russel approaches with his dagger-free hand extended to the antwomen

"If your so inclined" Ascen shakes it in the most polite and nicest way she can

"Let's please try to avoid murdering each other, eh?"
Russel move backwards, getting ready to start the match

[Kassire]

"No murdering, just until your out cold and or you surrender."Ascen puts her hands on the ground creating a large and bright light to emit from the area of the ground she put her hands on.

"Let us begin"
Russel charges, changing direction at the last moment to get a counter-counter attack

From Ascens hands is a spear that you can see isn't very sharp but she then makes it so as Russel charges toward her. With a grin she throws the spear 45 VS 18 and hits Russel for 68 damage. Russel then attacks Ascen who is now open from the direction change 24 VS 44 Russel is able to plunge his dagger into Ascen's side dealing 27 damage

Russel moves clockwise around Ascen while stabbing

((I was using d50+DEX VS target's d50+DEX to hit and d50+relevant skill-target's END for damage, did I do something wrong?

((We have weapon skills? Also my Dex is 23, how'd I only get an 18?))
