'Come to the department, it's by Magicsteady. The initiation is simply to show your alchemic abilities.'
"Sorry, no more challengers," the fairy girl says.

Altruis just waits for someone to challenge him then.

Standing at the front desk is a vampire girl leaning on her elbow in boredom.
Nobody seems to want to challenge Altrius. Seems like he built up a reputation.

She points her out to a large arena-like area with several different elements inside of it like water, artificial clouds, etc. She then tells her to show your skills.
