Trianna is gasping for breath, tears streaming out of her eyes as the alchemist's blood pours down her trembling hands and arms.

Cheru puts his arms around her and huddles next to her, as he rushes her back to the apartment.

Oromis is standing inside the apartment, his mossy stones forming the large figure of the man whose stony eye sockets glow with a green light.
 "What on earth transpired?"

"Alchemist. Tried to kill me and Trianna. Decayed part of me. Know anything about him?"

 "What? An alchemist? What did he look like--what transmutation circles did he use?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"White hood, gloves with some transmutation circle inscribed using the three main principles- don't ask me how I know that- and tall."

 "The three principles? Did you observe anything else of note?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"This one array had the symbol for death in it. Hurt like hell."

 "Wait--did he have another transmutation circle on his other glove?"
