Those who were watching the TV would notice that the news had some updates about a series of recent murders in the city; it seemed that they had all been killed by stabbing, but curiously, the wound seemed to stretch through the body and reach to the heart. Prime witnesses could only inform police that they thought they'd seen a figure with a light off in the distance when the bodies were discovered.

In other news, a local were-panda couple finally have their baby! More after this.

If the Domovoi was paying close attention, Cheru might notice something strange on the ground below. A group of human-seeming police were having some difficulties with getting a troll to cooperate with their search. As the troll speaks, gesticulating wildly, obviously grievously offended, a puddle moves behind one of the officers. While they are all distracted, it rises up into the shape of a woman, reaches around, and breaks the policewoman's neck. When the police turn around to look, the troll suddenly punches the nearest cop in the head, sending him flying, and creatures seem to pop up out of the woodwork to attack the group.
