Carrick looks at the source of the noises.

A mouse-woman seems to the source of the noise and upon seeing Carrick she talks into a walkie-talkie and then pulls out a gun "don't kill me big man, I got a couple hundred dollars in my bag and I'm getting back up to ransack this place." Then 3 ratmen, a centaur, and a murloc walk into the scene all armed with guns.

Carrick smashes her face with his shovel- bad idea to be telling the big, scary, undead guy who seems to be living here that you're going to be ransacking the place. The clang should be loud enough to warn everyone inside the house.

Two Avaritious Wraiths appear in front of Carrick. Elizabeth also warps to his side, spirit fire at the ready.

Frigid lets out an annoyed sigh and sets her tea down.
 "Should we go out?"
Tia flies outside.
 "Evoke pinnae, lapis!" she incants, drawing the essence from her wings and the stone. She then imbues them together and proceeds to throw hovering rocks at the enemies.

Cheru already presdigitated a dart gun into his hand.
Miaka looks behind her.
Elizabeth shields her allies with spirit fire, while the Wraiths taunt the enemies into attacking them and only them.

Frigid sighs and goes outside, conjuring an armor of ice around herself.

Cheru stays behind everyone, firing tranquilliser darts at the enemies. He was supposed to protect his principal. Killing wasn't part of the contract, unless it was necessary.

Meanwhile, a vaguely humanoid shape appears on the horizon!

Niisa lets out an eep at the claw lifting her blindfold; all that would be underneath were the gorgon's tightly shut eyes. "P-p-please d-don't do th-that! I d-don't want to h-h-h-hurt someo-one."

Hurt? How you hurt with eyes, small one? You hurt with fang and claw or wire. Not eyes.

This vaguely humanoid shape becomes more humanoid and less vague as it approaches the house.

Niisa shook her head violently, on the verge of crying. "I-I-I'm a g-gorgon; we t-turn p-people we l-look at int-to s-st-stone..."

She wasn't very good at dealing with excitement or surprise. Or people.
