"Yes, I can imagine..."

Leo notices the birdwoman, and shuffles over in her direction with his usual goofy grin on his face.

[SOLDIER First]

She appears to be following a good-looking young man, who does not appear to notice her.

[USEC_OFFICER]

Leo calls out to her, "Eh? Hello?"

[SOLDIER First]

Both the woman and the young man turns around, the latter of whom suddenly looks very scared and runs off, and the former notices this, becoming upset.
"What do you want? I almost had him."

[USEC_OFFICER]

He takes a step forward, and looks her up and down before replying, "Eh? Don't I know you from somewhere?"

[SOLDIER First]

"I don't think so, no."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Heh? You sure? I could have sworn I've seen you somewhere before. Might have been, uh, whatchamacall it. TV or something, eh?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Might have been the time I sang throughout the city in order to attract a mate.~ You were probably there."

Keith strolls up to Loxmi sipping on a can of beer. It's a cheap brand. Definently not something you would expect from someone who was at a party at a high ranking official's house.

[USEC_OFFICER]

Leo wiggles his eyebrows excitedly, "Singing, eh? I think I would have remembered someone like you singing. Yes, yes, it'd definitely be something I'd remember."

Laxmi raises an eyebrow and greets Keith, "Hello there. It's good to see that you're still up and about."

[SOLDIER First]

"Hmm, strange~..."
She says this in a tone that makes it very obvious that she thinks it anything but strange.

"Recently, courtesy of the fuckin' maniac of the week. But I found a hundred bucks, so it's okay, I guess."

"Yep. Still alive and such. All things considered that can be considered quite the feat."
Keith says sipping his beer.

[USEC_OFFICER]

Leo agrees with the birdwoman with a quick and short, "Heh heh heh." He doesn't volunteer anything else, however, and just continues to stare at her. Maybe. His eyebrows are so incredibly bushy that it's hard to tell what's looking at. Or if he can even see past that twisted, white mass of hair.

Laxmi nods, "Ah. And what things have conspired against you to warrant such a comment?"

Keith says stretching.

"Oh? You'll have to be more specific than that, I'm afraid. I can't read minds. Yet."
