Maja backs up cautiously, keeping an eye out in every direction for Altrius. Above, behind, etc. It also helps that she can smell him out from a ways away, which should give her a bit of a warning.

Altrius' scent has disappeared altogether. It seems that he has completely disappeared from the battle.

Maja doesn't drop her guard, or at least not yet. What she does do is pick up one of Altrius's fingers which she tore off as a trophy.

The man ruffles around his neck before speaking again, "This should sound better to a dragonkin. I can't permit you to leave Madness city just yet. Things to be done, People to convert." Maja's vision is still blurred.

Maja is able to fly back into Madness city just fine. It seems that flying out is impossible while the man is around.
