You push up with the four of your legs. You shove the side of an egg in your mouth and chew the stick, white substance on it. You  rip through the egg, eating the developing embryo inside. It looks like you're in luck, since you are the first born. Within minutes, you are full and all the eggs in the room are gone, and you are able to examine the stone walls, and you see that the dim light is coming from the cave opening.
