So, can someone get me up to speed?  I read the intro post of course, but I'll need some time before I can read some/all of the IC thread.  Are there any rules for chargen posted?  I couldn't find anything regarding abilities or magic, even though it seems like there's some weird stuff regarding runic magic.  Also, what about male characters?  I didn't think there were male monmusu, unless that's just something we are rolling with.  Can someone please elaborate?

And finally and perhaps most seriously.  I was looking briefly through the IC thread, and found rapid fire exchanges.  That's all well and good, but I doubt I will be able to post more than 2-3 time a day (barring weekends).  If thats fine, then I hope to put a character together soon.

EDIT: I'm up to page 30 or so... does... does anything actually happen?  So far this has been pretty lame.

Don't read the thread, it'll get you nowhere. Make any gender you want. Charsheet is in the op of this thread.

We were in the prologue until about 100 or so pages ago, I think.

We now have 11 more Sultanes to kill before Act 2.

There are nine plots queued up, and I fully expect each of them to take at least three weeks, with the characters focusing (as much as they can be expected to, at least) on nothing else, whatsoever.

One plot at a time is boring.

And also unrealistic(in as much as anything can be unrealistic in those sort of games). Why the hell would evil wait for you to beat it's neighbor's face in before knocking on the door?

Not that mashing every plot together in an orgy of multiple simultaneous and devasting plot strikes is realistic either. Just, sometimes you have to fight on two fronts.

It also helps bosses from getting mauled and being too ineffectual to really be called a boss because of such. You get forced to split the party.

Running two plots at once requires a lot of co-ordination between people, which is tricky because timezones. By all means, if two of you agree to run your plots at the same time, then feel free.
