I has some lore that might contradict the Autumn Court's control over the kingdom Miaka hails from (Teppelin, which is totally not supposed to be her last name /sincerity) as stuff I will reveal when I can be arsed.

She doesn't necessarily have to come from the Autumn Court. It's just that most Sylphs do, as they are spirits of wind, and the element of air is typically associated with the Autumn Courts. There's plenty in the other courts, mostly the Spring Court, but still. Also, different kingdoms/duchies/etc. have different amounts of leniency about their practices, typically based on their graces with the High Monarch.

Speaking of which, I'm trying to figure out the old titles for the other monarchs. I don't even particularly like the Luidaeg for the Winter Queen, since it's just from the October Daye series, but I can't really find much else.

Also, I think the biggest difference in playstyle between me and the rest of y'all is that mine mostly comes from books, while yours comes from manga/anime, from what I can tell.

I'm thinking more the sylphs of Miaka's kingdom broke off a LONG time ago (think thousands of years) and fought a short war between them and the Court before the Sylphs of Teppelin agreed to stay out of Fae business- which is why they broke off to get out of the decadent court nonsense- if the Autumn Court left them alone.

Which neatly explains why the Queen isn't looking for Miaka apart from her being of the Autumn Court- technically, Teppelin doesn't count as part of the Courts as they broke off after getting tired of all the decadence and murder and intrigue, and the whole 'we stay out of your business if you stay out of ours' vow.
